It has been months since I have blogged anything! This year was crazy for so many people, especially anyone involved in the wedding industry. Weddings have happening in between shut downs and outdoors, in driveways, beaches, and backyards. Some weddings went just as planned and some were scaled back in a major way, saving the big celebration for 2021 and 2022. What was a major surprise of 2020 was the fact that I was insanely busy this past fall! After delivering my summer weddings and elopements in September, busy season hit and every weekend was full of family photos, mini sessions, and elopements! I was definitely grateful for the work but I was not expecting it! Hence the lack of blog posts and social media sharing. Let’s also add in the fact that I went back to my day job full time AND my kids have all been home virtually learning. It has been an insane year.
Now let’s get to the good part. Stephanie and Steve’s wedding was one of the very few that continued just as planned! Their Tidewater Inn wedding in Easton, MD was allowed to happen according to state guidelines and it was a welcome celebration during a very crazy year. You might remember Stephanie and Steve from their engagement session at Swarthmore College. They finally tied the knot this past summer with friends, family and most importantly, their son Wyatt, all in attendance! Congratulations Stephanie and Steve and thank you for having me as a part of your day!
