From our first meeting to their engagement session at Forbidden Drive and finally to their wedding day, Christine and Devon were kind, goofy, funny, thoughtful, and just a joy to be with. Their Hotel Palomar wedding was perfectly quaint, romantic, and full of love.
We started the day a little different than most weddings, skipping the bride and groom prep and went straight for the first look in Hotel Palomar’s library. After a few portraits there we were able to take our time and explore Rittenhouse Square for a few more portraits. The park was pretty busy since it was such a beautiful day but we lucked out and scored a sweet spot where no one was in our way. Christine and Devon were even personally serenaded by a wonderful gentleman in a yellow seersucker suit. They insisted that he didn’t need to sing for them I won that battle and we have some adorably sweet and awkward photos for it!
After the photos in Rittenhouse we made our way back to Hotel Palomar for family portraits, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. I need to mention that Christine and Devon truly made me feel like family. I had a seat at the table and enjoyed dinner with their close family and friends. I loved learning more about them as a couple and also all about how they met their friends. After an amazing dinner we walked over to Fado for a little after party!
Their wedding day was truly amazing! Having a small wedding doesn’t take away from the importance of the day and if anything, the celebration is even more special. This was definitely evident for Christine & Devon. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. and thank you so much for having me be a part of your day!
