Cape May Wedding

Just a few short months after Rachel and Matt’s engagement session I got to see them AGAIN for their family-focused Cape May wedding! Matt was missing his mullet this time though! This wedding is now one of my all-time favorites. Rachel and Matt didn’t plan on getting married in Cape May with just a few friends and family but like most 2020 brides, they have a change of plans. Their actual wedding day still ended up being beautiful – both in terms of weather and the moments that filled the day. Prep started at the house and then everyone gathered for some family photos out on the front lawn. While we did some beautiful family photos, we also had a ton of hilarious photos as well! After the ceremony, Rachel, Matt, and I were able to head back to the beach for the second round of photos, this time with the sun setting behind us. We ended the night with great food, drinks, music, and a choreographed dance routine by the groom!

New Hope Engagement Photos

As I sit at my desk and see the snow and ice outside, this warm, late-September session is almost making me crave a change in the weather! However, we have had it pretty easy the last few winters and I think we’re definitely due for all of the cold, ice, and snow! I’m sure that when May rolls around, Erin and Tom’s wedding day is going to be perfectly warm and just as beautiful as the day we did their engagement session! Erin and Tom’s New Hope engagement photos turned out beautifully as we dodged other people and found some great little nooks and crannies that worked for us! My favorite part of their session was when we found ourselves on a tiny little sidewalk tucked away with the most perfect light! I am looking forward to their spring wedding at Hotel du Village!

Delaware Waterfront Engagement Session

Ok so I know this engagement session was from the summer of 2020 but I am determined to get everything blogged soon! 2020 – what a mess right? I lost all steam with my usual process of creating a blog post and sharing photos on social media but I’m trying to get back into the swing of things. What started out as a lot of rescheduled and cancellations, ended as a pretty busy year with micro-weddings, engagement sessions, and family photos. My business survived the worst year and I’m so excited to move on to 2021! Anyhow, how adorable are Kellie and Michael? We met at the Delaware River Waterfront and made our way over to Spruce Street Harbor Park. Summer evenings are not the greatest times for sessions when dealing with crowded areas, even during covid, but we made the best of it and were able to get a few great spots with minimal crowds! Kellie and Michael are getting married in May of 2022 which seems like a lifetime from now but I’m so excited to see them again for their big day!
