Philadelphia Microweddings

By May 21, 2020 Elopement, Weddings

What was once going against tradition, Philadelphia microweddings, elopements, and intimate gatherings are about to become much more popular. Due to the recent coronavirus pandemic which has just left everyone’s lives upside down, the wedding industry has also taken a huge hit. I admit that I was very naive when this all began and thought that my early through mid-summer couples would not have been affected. Now as we near closer to June I know how wrong I was. At this point, I don’t know when my next full wedding will happen. Many of my couples plan on getting married on the day they originally had planned but in a much different way. I want to share a few things for my own couples and also for anyone planning a smaller wedding in the near future – and it’s all good!

In Philadelphia there are so many great places that accommodate couples looking for a smaller affair, such as the Hotel Palomar. In the heart of the city, Hotel Palomar offers an excellent location close to Rittenhouse and their library provides a perfect spot for a first look, or family photos. There are so many great places to get married in Philadelphia!

And when no one gets lost in a small wedding, that also means that (depending the location) your pets can be included!

In the end, and what I always tell my couples, is that what truly matters is you are getting married! Things always go wrong on a wedding day – big or small. Of course no one expected for things to go wrong at this magnitude but what matters and why we’re all here in the first place, is for you to say “I do”!
