PHILADELPHIA ENGAGEMENT SESSION

By | Engagements | No Comments

I recently met up with Kaitlyn and Rob for their engagement session in Philadelphia! We met a little while back in my studio, along with Kaitlyn’s parents and I knew working with them would be a blast. We had a great time just at our initial meeting and I enjoyed getting to know them more at their engagement session. The happy couple are planning their November wedding at the Bellevue so getting outside for some springtime sun and scenery was perfect!

HOTEL DU VILLAGE WEDDING

You may remember Carrie and Pat from their NYC engagement session last summer. The happy couple lives together in New York where they first met playing rec soccer on opposite teams. I was fortunate enough to meet Carrie & Pat last July for their engagement photos and got to see the neighborhood that they call home. Fast forward to this spring, Carrie and Pat are finally married!! Their wedding day was absolutely beautiful (and luckily much cooler in temperature than their engagement session). The day went off without a hitch not only because Carrie and Pat are awesome, but so was their venue. Their Hotel du Village wedding was flawless! The ceremony and reception spaces, the bridal suite, groom’s prep location, and grounds were all available for us to use and did not disappoint.

After the first look and some windy portraits guests started to arrive for the ceremony. The ceremony was heartfelt, sentimental and gave everyone gathered around had an inside look into Carrie and Pat’s history and love story. After cocktail hour we were able to steal the newlyweds for a few additional minutes of portraits. We couldn’t was the amazing sunset that was happening! The rest of the night is history! Guests partied along with Modern Luxe band who had everyone up and dancing all night! And before the sparkler exit, guests were even treated to late night snacks like mini pork roll, egg, & cheese sandwiches.

I have loved working with Carrie and Pat over this past year! They have been so kind, easy-going and genuinely wonderful. They even gave me a few bags of their favorite coffee as a gift and if that doesn’t tell you how awesome these two are, I don’t know what will.

Enjoy a small look into their beautiful Hotel du Village wedding!

OLD CITY ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

By | Engagements | No Comments

Melissa and Mark and I had such a fun and relaxed engagement session a few weeks ago. The future bride and groom live on a quaint street in South Philly where we started our session – replicating a familiar walk they take with with their two pups. Afterwards we piled into an Uber and headed to Old City to take another relaxing walk. We went everywhere from the Merchant’s Exchange Building, random alleyways, Elfreth’s Alley, and even to a parking garage rooftop to catch the beautifully golden setting sun. We laughed and talked and had such a great time! I never pressure my couples to do an engagement session but I really do love when they opt in because it’s so much fun getting to know each other and build that connection. I can’t wait for Mark and Melissa’s October wedding!
