FORBIDDEN DRIVE ENGAGEMENT SESSION

By | Engagements | No Comments

Better late than never when it comes to sharing this post! Christine and Devon are one of my wonderful couples for 2019! They will be tying the knot next to very close friends and family this spring at the Hotel Palomar in Philadelphia. We squeezed in their engagement session in Fairmount Park along Forbidden Drive this past fall. Forbidden Drive might be in the middle of Philadelphia but to myself and Christine, it was a bit more nature than we were used to. Luckily Devon knew his way around and managed to move some branches and logs for our photos, and also warned me when I was getting too close to poison ivy! We certainly had a lot of laughs during our little adventure and I can’t wait to see them get married in a few short months!

SMITHVILLE MANSION FAMILY SESSIONS

By | Family | No Comments

This past fall I had the pleasure of photographing so many wonderful families! I love working in my studio but you just can’t pass up the gorgeous colors that fall has to offer so I was able to photograph many of my sessions at Smithville Mansion in Mt. Holly. This post shares a few photos from three different families each with their own unique qualities. Even though the backdrop might have been the same for many of the photos, the personalities vary so much. I look forward to each fall because in between weddings I get to see so many past clients that return yearly for updated photos. Enjoy!

THE INN AT LAMBERTVILLE STATION WEDDING

By | Weddings | No Comments

My career in photography has allowed me to meet so many wonderful people. If it wasn’t for Kara, a friend and fellow photographer, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to photograph Christina and Scott’s wedding at the Inn at Lambertville Station in New Jersey this past October. Christina is incredibly sweet and is Kara’s sister. Scott is sarcastic and funny but I know deep down had a soft side. Scott insisted that since this was their second marriage, it wouldn’t be like a traditional wedding and I reminded him of that comment while we waited for Christina to make her appearance at their first look! Like most second weddings Christina and Scott wanted most of the focus to be on family. We took so many family photos which I hope will be treasured by everyone for years to come.

GROUNDS FOR SCULPTURE WEDDING

By | Weddings | No Comments

Lexi and Hank celebrated their new marriage alongside close friends and family for an intimate morning wedding at the Grounds for Sculpture. The weather was questionable for their morning outdoor ceremony but the sun eventually came out in perfect timing for Lexi and Hank to say “I do”. After the ceremony the new bride and groom took the time to personally see each guest before taking photos of their new combined family. Rat’s Restaurant welcomed everyone to a lovely brunch where a few close friends and even Lexi’s son, gave heartfelt toasts wishing happiness to the newlyweds.
